Feb. 22nd, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM at Katy Lynn Pottery Studios, 2424 Jane Street Pittsburgh, PA 15203
Slow down, tune in, and move through a thoughtfully curated afternoon of making and mindfulness at Form and Flow, a collaborative workshop hosted by Katy Lynn Pottery and Mindful Movements & Sound.
This immersive experience weaves together hands-on pottery, gentle yoga, and a grounding sound bath. Offering space to reconnect with your body, breath, and creativity as we create a handbuilt smudge bowl using the pinch pot technique. These bowls will be designed with intention, by you, to support personal rituals or moments of reflection.
So how is this going to work? The afternoon begins with clay! You’ll shape your smudge bowl with guidance—no prior pottery experience needed. From there, Lindsey of Mindful Movements & Sound will lead a gentle yoga practice (beginner friendly!) followed by a soothing sound bath to close the session.
Workshop Details:
✨ All materials, tools, and kiln firings included
✨ No prior clay or yoga experience needed!
✨Each participant will receive a fresh sage smudge stick to help begin their practice once their piece is complete.
✨ Light refreshments provided
✨ All work will be left behind to be fired. Pieces will be ready for pick-up at Katy Lynn Pottery Studios 2-4 weeks after the workshop (shipping is available, please select that option at check-out if needed)
✨ Limited spots—reserve yours now!
